In 1966, a group of Beacon Hill residents decided to build a community pool. After extensive negotiations with the city, the pool opened its gates on August 5, 1967 to 280 eager members. Ever since, the pool has been run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors supported by the many members who donate their time and energy to make it a great place to spend the long summer days. Beacon Hill pool has been become an integral part of Beaconsfield and fostered a community that has made the Beacon Hill area an extremely desirable place to live and grow as a family.Read more
